- ARM manufactures Sodium Silicate both in Kenya and South African factories. The Kenyan Plant, based at Athi RIver has an installed capacity of 60, 000 ton per year while the South Africa subsidiary, set up and operationized in September 2004 has a capacity of 30, 000 ton pa.
- ARM is a leader in the Sodium Silicate industry commanding more than 80% of the total regional E African market and exports its products to Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Malawi, Madagascar, S Africa etc.
- Sodium Silicate is an industrial raw material used in different industries; Sodium silicate comes in solid and liquid form; is used as an industrial raw material for making detergent & soaps and water pipes’ treatment to minimize internal pipe corrosion.
Distribution and Sales
Being an industrial raw material for various industries, Sodium Silicate is sold directly to the industries that use it as raw material such as soap and detergent manufactures among others.
