ARM has set up a fertilizer blending plant manufacturing 10:26:10 NPK fertilizer enriched with other nutrients like Calcium, Mgnesium, Sulphur, and Baron Magnese etc. The capacity will be increased to 30,000 tpa in 2007.
At present Mavuno, which is ARM blended fertilizer is the fastest selling fertilizer in the country. Tests carried out by independent agencies indicate that Mavuno is 30% more effective in comparison to traditional fertilizers.

Tests carried out by independent agencies indicate that Mavuno is 30% more effective in comparison to traditional fertilizers. ARM set up a fertilizer division in 2003 to blend plant manufacturing 10:26:10 NPK fertilizer enriched with other nutrients like Calcium, Mgnesium, Sulphur and micros.
The plant capacity at present is 15,000 ton per year which will be expanded to 30,000 ton per year by 2007.At present Mavuno, which is ARM blended fertilizer is the fastest selling fertilizer in the country.
Three year old in the market, it has the following benefits;

- Enhances crop production by 16% to 40%
- Mavuno fertilizer also improves soil condition and enhances growth of nitrogen fixing micro- organisms (humus formation)
- Can be used on almost all crops grown in Kenya e.g. maize, vegetables, cereals, coffee, wheat and tobacco
- It is suitable for Kenyan soils as it is tailor made and it has no side effects on the soils.

Distribution and sales
- The fertilizer is sold through a network of wholesale and retail shops throughout the country. Direct sales to institutional or corporate customers is also done.
