INTRODUCTION
The Industrial Minerals Division operates from Athi River plant and has an installed capacity of 80,000 tones per year. The minerals mined and processed by ARM are used as raw materials in over 50 industries like the paints, foam mattresses, adhesives, rubber footwear, plastics, PVC products etc. ARM is a market leader in this segment and has an over 70% market share in the minerals market.
The minerals include;
Limestone,Dolomite,Magnesite,Gypsum, Kaolin,Feldspar,Kaolin,Feldspar,Barites, Bentonite ,Quartz
INDUSTRIAL MINERALS DIVISION
- ARM produces ultra fine and course ranges of industrial minerals in this division.
- The technlogy for ultra fine and food grade minerals was procured from Europe.
- The range and quality of products produced in this division are recognised as the best produced in the region.
- ARM has produced a range of ultra fine products which were ealier being imported into the region.
- In terms of technology , ARM is second to none in the African Continent.

The products are sold to a wide range of industrial customers including those in the:- Glass ,Paint ,Ceramic ,Paper and Detergent Industry.ARM has strong customer relations in all these sectors and commands over a 70% markets share in the greater East African Region.
